These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Citizened mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, "Citizened," the "App," or the "Service"). Citizened is provided by American Prudence, LLC ("we," "our," or "us").
By accessing or using Citizened, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Educational Purpose Only
Citizened provides study tools, practice questions, flashcards, resources, and related educational features to help users prepare for the U.S. citizenship and naturalization interview process. The Service is for general educational and informational purposes only.
Citizened does not provide legal advice, immigration advice, representation, case review, or government services. If you need legal or immigration advice, you should consult a qualified attorney, accredited representative, or appropriate government source.
2. No Guarantee of Results
We work to make Citizened helpful and accurate, but we do not guarantee that using the Service will result in passing any test, receiving any immigration benefit, becoming a U.S. citizen, or achieving any specific outcome. Your interview, test, application, eligibility, and results are determined by USCIS and applicable law.
3. Your Responsibility
You are responsible for how you use Citizened and for verifying any information that may affect your personal situation. Official requirements, questions, answers, policies, and procedures may change. You should review official USCIS materials and instructions that apply to your filing date and circumstances.
4. Accounts, Classes, and Progress
Some features may allow users to join a classroom, manage a class, track progress, save preferences, or use other personalized tools. You agree to provide accurate information where required and to use any classroom or account features only with proper authorization.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials or access codes associated with your use of the Service.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purposes.
- Copy, scrape, resell, sublicense, or redistribute substantial parts of the Service without permission.
- Reverse engineer, interfere with, or attempt to bypass security or access controls.
- Upload, submit, or share content that infringes rights, violates law, or harms other users.
- Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, overload, or impair our systems.
6. Intellectual Property
The Citizened name, logos, design, software, text, graphics, features, and other content are owned by American Prudence, LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial study purposes, subject to these Terms.
7. Third-Party Services
Citizened may link to or use third-party services, including Google Play, advertising networks, analytics providers, and external resources. Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
If you download Citizened through Google Play, your access, installation, payment, cancellation, and refund experience may also be governed by Google Play's terms and policies.
8. Purchases, Ads, and Refunds
Citizened may include free features, paid features, advertisements, or links to products and resources. Prices, availability, and features may change. Purchases made through Google Play are generally processed by Google Play, and refund requests should be handled through the applicable Google Play process unless otherwise stated.
9. Updates and Availability
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also correct errors, change content, add or remove features, or update study materials as needed.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, American Prudence, LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, partners, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data loss, service interruption, test outcomes, immigration outcomes, or reliance on information provided through the Service.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we believe you have violated these Terms, misused the Service, created risk for other users, or acted in a way that may harm us, the Service, or others.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of Citizened after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
